i dont belive these serials where one large file which where split up for size considerations.
i downloaded "zombies of the stratosphere",which was a 12 part series,and there was no problems with quality what ever.

What i meant was if i downloaded on of the parts as one single download and i then downloaded the same file again as a 4 segment/accelerated download using Getright, would the accelerated version suffer from any quality stability or jerkiness issues as a result compared to the part that was downloaded as a sinle download/segment

no.
i use getright.no problems.i think i understand what you mean now.
these download managers download files in small segments but it does not in any way corrupt or degrade the file itself.
happy downloading :}

Moxey:

I also am using getright. And I was downloading Zombies from Stratosphere also. But today I cannot resume my downloads. Have you had any problems like this? And, if so, maybe could you give advice?

travis,

sometimes its a problem with the file server{archives.org}.trying again later solves the problem.
did you download a portion of the file?
find out where getright is downloading the file to.
it will be a partial file{which is great feature about these download managers}.you can start and stop anytime and not loose what you downloaded.
you wont be able to view any of the video until the whole file is completely downloaded.
run getright and right click on its icon in the lower right of your screen.choose "getright download status".and your file should show.double click it and the download will resume.
its like any other software,you just have to get used to how it operates.
hope this answers your question.
